Thrift mat
The idea from this came from a crafty friend...
Take some old jeans, and cut into strips about 2cm wide.
Using a satisfyingly large crochet hook crochet the strips in to a simple rectangle. Different colours of denim can be used to make stripes!
Stop when your mat is the size you need.
